ayhealth’s 12th annual Go Pink! breast cancer awareness campaign and fundraiser is officially underway.
One of the key components of Go Pink! is a specially designed t-shirt that may be purchased for a donation of $10. Proceeds after expenses are divided and used to provide breast screenings and education programs offered through Bayhealth and its community partner the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. T-shirts are available for purchase online at BayhealthFoundation.org until Sept. 21 and at the Gift Shops at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus and Bayhealth Milford Memorial through Oct. 6.
The other component is the Go Pink! Health Fair, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bayhealth Medical Office Building located at 540 S. Governors Ave., Dover, opposite Spence’s Bazaar. This free community event features information on cancer treatment and survivorship programs as well as free clinical breast exams and screening mammograms for women who are uninsured and underinsured.
