Brain Injury and Concussion Community Forum

October 24, 2016

Join Bayhealth's Chief Neurosurgeon James Mills, MD, for a community forum on brain injuries and concussions Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Lewes Public Library, East Room. All concussions are serious; but they often go unrecognized when they do not result in a loss of consciousness. Concussions are of major concern to healthcare providers, coaches and parents alike. Many concussions can be prevented; those that do happen must be recognized and treated quickly.

Dr. Mills has conducted research on many aspects of brain injuries, and he specializes in neuro-oncology, skull base and cerebrovascular surgery, and spine surgery. He is skilled in minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic surgery.

The event is free, but registration is preferred. Visit Bayhealth.org/LewesForum or call Karen McLeod at 302-674-3970 ext. 7920 to register.

Bayhealth Neurosurgery is proud to offer appointments at their office in Lewes. Call 1-866-BAY-DOCS to schedule an appointment.
