Find Your Pot O’ Gold Tonight in Downtown Milford!

March 17, 2018

Coastal Cuisine  – one of Delmarva’s favorite and longest running weekly televised news features focusing exclusively on regional food and drink – recently covered another installment of Arena’s Deli & Bar Month with a sneak peek at the 8th Annual Milford St. Patrick’s Pub Crawl!

Host and Executive Producer of Coastal Cuisine, Michael Sprouse joined Arena’s Ramsey Schrader and Jenn Rowan and Ben Jones (co-owners of Lifecycle bike shop) for a festive night of visiting several of the locations included in this year’s St Patrick’s Crawl including Arena’s Milford, Mispillion River Brewing, Easy Speak Spirits, Abbott’s Grill, Park Place and more!

“Milford has such a strong sense of community and that vibe really highlighted the entire evening,” said Sprouse. “We had a great time just shooting the episode! Everyone we spoke as we went from stop to stop is super excited about the event on St. Patrick’s Day – it will certainly by the biggest and best to date.”

“Ramsey is very dedicated to that community focus, especially in that way that connects to the day to day operations of Arena’s Milford,” Sprouse added. “Though we understandably began and ended the Coastal Cuisine shoot at Arena’s Milford, Ramsey was very keen that we we’re able to film in as many of the businesses taking part in the event as possible.”

“Every location that we visited shared that same friendliness, fun and local pride. It really underscored what a great community Milford is and what a fantastic St. Patrick’s event it’s going to be this year.”

Keeping the event functional is important too and Jenn Rowan of Lifecycle emphasized during the filming that organizers were really working diligently to make sure that Designated Drivers can get in on the fun too! Several downtown merchants will be offering alcohol free beverages, snacks, and even games to DD’s. In addition, a bus loop, pedicabs (sponsored by Lifecycle) and a driver service have been included to ensure the event runs smoothly and soundly for participants.

The Milford St Patrick's Crawl runs from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Saturday, March 17th. More Information about the 8th Annual Milford St. Patrick’s Pub Crawl, courtesy of the nonprofit group Downtown Milford, Inc., can be found below.

0ifEHxb.jpgThe Milford St Patrick's Crawl has been the best kept secret for St Paddy's celebrations in Southern Delaware. This year, that secret is getting blown wide open through the collaboration of many Southern Delaware businesses to throw a fun for all St Patrick's Crawl!

Hosted by the nonprofit group Downtown Milford, Inc., the crawl is a fundraiser. Race bib sales benefit the shop where you purchase and DMI’s mission to support the small businesses, history, beautification, and culture of Downtown Milford.

The Milford Pub Crawl is unique as it routes crawlers through downtown merchants who host local breweries, wineries, and distilleries in their shops. As the crawl progresses, it follows along to our downtown pubs, taverns, bars, and restaurants. This year, attendees can hop on a bus to hit a loop that includes the adult beverage craftspeople in Milford's Uptown.

Downtown Milford merchants will be open and hosting crawlers from 6 to 9 PM. Downtown/Uptown watering holes will be open until 1:00 AM.

Designated Drivers can crawl too! From 6 to 9 PM, several downtown merchants will be offering alcohol free beverages, snacks, and even games!
