Free Movie "Jaws" Thursday August 24 in Lewes Canalfront Park

- Private group -

Event has passed

The original summer blockbuster “JAWS” will be shown on Thursday August 24 at dusk (approx. 7:45) in Lewes Canalfront Park, located at 211 Front Street in Historic Lewes on the banks of the beautiful Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.  The movie is free thanks to the support of Citizen's Bank and Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and maybe a picnic for the free Cinema by the Canal series.

Just like our beautiful Delaware beaches, Amity Island had everything: Clear skies, white sand, gentle surf, warm water. People flocked there every summer, but it was the perfect feeding ground. A giant great white shark arrives off the shore of Amity on the biggest summer weekend and wreaks havoc with bloody attacks on swimmers. After seeing “JAWS”, you may never go in the water again!

Also mark your calendar for other free events in the Park, the final Concert by the Canal on Thursday August 31 (Clifford Keith Band) and the return of Pooches in the Park on Saturday, September 9.
