Local PE Teacher Joins Body Shop Fitness Team

September 6, 2016

A Delaware native, James grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football, so fitness has always been an integral part of his lifestyle. After college, James started a regular weight training routine and makes exercise a part of his daily life.

James is a physical education and health teacher at Milford High School, where he is the assistant baseball coach. He is also a certified trainer and has his Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance.

James loves sharing his passion of fitness with others, and enjoys helping students develop lifelong fitness goals. He helps individual athletes prepare for upcoming seasons; work through rehab, and even leads team fitness training. James worked with the Cape Henlopen High School Girls Lacrosse team in their off-season strength-training program this winter at the Body Shop.

Beyond students, James is comfortable working with individuals of all fitness groups and levels to meet their personal goals. To schedule a personal training session with James, please contact the Body Shop at 302-226-0920. You can also contact James directly at overstreetjla@yahoo.com or 302-359-0344. He looks forward to working with you!
