Money Management Classes at Unity

A new series of classes have been scheduled to assist with Money Management presented by Diane Heydt. All classes meet from 6:30-7:30pm.

June 8th Becoming Debt Free is not a Fantasy This course will go over concepts of getting out of debt and ways to accelerate debt reduction.  Budgeting to get out of debt as well as creating an overall plan for your financial future will be discussed.

July 6th Retirement and Social Security: How to Accumulate Wealth and Have Financial Freedom
Are you building towards a quality retirement? This course will cover where your retirement money comes from, how you should invest it, and what you should do to protect it. We will also cover how to best choose when and how to take social security.

August 10th Smart and Simple Financial Strategies
Learn the most common financial mistakes people make, determine what those mistakes cost over time and discover easy methods to fix those mistakes.  You will be given practical tools to enhance your financial well-being and put an end to giving away your hard earned money.  Upon completion of this class, you will understand the concepts necessary to thrive in the future.

September 14th Preparing for Home Ownership
This course will discuss the many details that make the purchase of a home much less difficult.  Topics such as credit, down payments, hidden expenses, overall preparation, and long term considerations will be discussed.

October 12th How to Protect your Assets in an Unstable Economy
This will be an informational session to talk about how to manage the volatility of today’s saving venues and accumulate a comfortable retirement plan.  We will also discuss making your money last in your retirement as well as the best options available concerning social security.

All are welcome to any or all of the classes. There is no charge for any class.
