Throughout the year, the Nanticoke Case Management team and Nanticoke Physician Network (NPN) Care Coordination team hosted fundraisers at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital to benefit the Prescription Drug Fund, which was established over twenty years ago to assist patients who cannot afford their prescription medications after their discharge from the healthcare system.

Each day, these teams work to establish appropriate treatment plans specific to each patient’s need in the inpatient setting or through the Nanticoke Physician Network practices. This year, the teams provide much more than that.Back in May, the two departments declared a “Coin War” which ceased fire on July 7. From that event, they were able to raises over $1600. Just recently, the Case Management team held their first “Decorate Your Own Holiday Tree” craft night, which raised $944.25.

On December 19, the Case Management team presented a check in the amount of $2567.90 to Steve Rose, Nanticoke President/CEO, and Renee’ Morris, Executive Director of the Nanticoke Health Foundation, to benefit Nanticoke’s Prescription Drug Fund.

Nanticoke would like to thank the Case Management and NPN Care Coordination team for all of their hard work and dedication to making sure that all of Nanticoke’s patients are able to receive the prescription medications they need. To learn how you can help make a difference, visit
