Peninsula Alternative Health will host a Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Friday, Jan. 19.
It begins at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center at noon, when Peninsula Alternative Health invites people to tune in via Facebook Live as the team answers questions from the community. The next two sessions will also be at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
A 1 p.m. session featuring Peninsula Alternative Health CEO Anthony Darby is titled “What You Need to Know As a Potential Patient: Medical Cannabis in Maryland.” Darby will cover medical cannabis in Maryland, who is eligible, qualifying medical conditions and the process for registering.
At 2 p.m., attendees can meet the Peninsula Alternative Health team via a panel discussion. Hear the team members’ stories about launching the dispensary and learn what's to come for medical cannabis in Maryland.
Events will then move to Peninsula Alternative Health at 400 Snow Hill Road in Salisbury. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, followed by a reception and networking at Back Street Grill, which is across the street from Peninsula Alternative Health, starting at 4:30 p.m.
