Registration open for FUNdamental Soccer, Wicomico Soccer League

Kick off a season of fun this August with Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ FUNdamental Soccer and the Wicomico Soccer League. Registration is open now.

Fall FUNdamental Soccer is for U4, U6 and U8 age groups – kids born from 2010-2014. In a nurturing, fun environment, players will learn soccer using specialized, age-appropriate drills and games designed to develop a player’s individual skills.

Sessions will be held on Saturdays at WinterPlace Park from Aug. 26-Oct. 21. U4 players will start at 9 a.m., U6 players will start at 10 a.m. and U8 players will start at 11 a.m. or noon – times may vary based on final registration numbers and field availability.

The program fee is $50 and includes a uniform shirt and soccer ball.

The Wicomico Soccer League is for U10, U12 and U14 age groups – kids born from 2004-2009. The Wicomico Soccer League is a volunteer coach-led league focusing on developing children's soccer skills as they make new friends and have fun. Teams will play 10 games over a six-week season and have the option to compete in the Wicomico Soccer League End of Season Tournament.

The season begins Aug. 26, and teams will play on Saturdays, with Monday-Thursday games as needed. Times and days will vary based on final registration numbers and field availability. Games will be played at WinterPlace Park and various town fields as needed.

The program fee is $50 per player for individual registration, which includes a team uniform, or $350 per team, with no uniforms provided.

The registration deadline for both programs is July 28, with a late registration deadline of Aug. 4. The late fee is $5 per individual or $25 per team.
