Registration open for Teen/Adult USTA Tennis Lessons

Learn to play tennis by joining Wicomico County Recreation for Teen/Adult United States Tennis Association-led Tennis Lessons.

 

The program will help male and female players ages 13 and up develop tennis fundamentals through a fun play-to-learn style. Lessons will be held at WinterPlace Park.

 

Participants can choose from Thursday classes held June 7-July 19, with no class July 5, or Saturday classes held June 9-July 21, with no class July 7.

 

Learn the Game is for new/novice players and Play the Game is for advanced beginners and intermediate players. On Thursdays, Learn the Game lessons will be held from 6-7 p.m. and Play the Game lessons will be held from 7-8 p.m. On Saturdays, Learn the Game lessons will be held from 10-11 a.m. and Play the Game lessons will be held from 11 a.m.-noon.

 

Each student needs to bring a racket and should wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. The cost is $60 for the session. There can be a maximum of 10 students per class.
