Rehoboth Beach Seeking Evergreen Tree to Light Up Downtown

- Private group -
June 3, 2016

The Friday after Thanksgiving is a festive night in downtown Rehoboth Beach and it all starts with the perfect tree!  Rehoboth Beach Main Street (RBMS), is searching for a 35 to 40-foot evergreen tree, between the areas of Bethany and Broadkill Beach, for its annual downtown “Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along” at the Rehoboth Bandstand on Friday, November 25, 2016.  The larger-than-life tree ideally would be a Spruce or Douglas Fir (no Leyland Cypress please).  If you think you have the right tree and wish to donate it, please call RBMS at 302.227.2772.  If your tree is selected, arrangements will be made to have it taken down and transported downtown.  The generous donor(s) of the tree will receive special recognition during the Tree Lighting celebration.

Downtown Rehoboth’s “Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along” is a cherished annual event where hundreds of spectators gather to enjoy live musical entertainment and witness the illumination of our City’s most famous Christmas tree.  For more information, visit www.downtownrb.com.
