Looking to spruce up the home or complete some last-minute projects? Find answers about everything from home improvement to personal well-being at this year’s Better Living Expo.

The Better Living Expo will be held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25 and 26. Expo hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. There is $2 weekend admission, with children under 16 admitted free.

There will be more than 100 regional vendors showcasing products, services and innovations for the home, health, finance and garden, as well as local fine arts and crafts.

“We are really excited about all of the new vendors and artisans joining us this year,” said Optimist Club Chairman Will Tyler. “It not only gives area residents the opportunity to speak with the experts, but to see, look and buy the newest products for your home and family.”

Among the vendors and featured items will be HVAC companies, contractors and remodelers, pools/spas, custom-made Dutch furniture, gutter/leaf relief, pest control, insurance agencies, health and fitness, dog training and more. There will also be jewelry, handmade items, gifts, paintings, foods and specialties.

Attendees can enjoy entertainment, talks and demonstrations. Kids and adults alike will be amazed by Cascading Carlos’ incredible juggling abilities. There will also be face painting and the opportunity to meet greyhound rescue dogs.

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the weekend, including an American Fyre Designs 70,000 BTU outdoor fire pit donated by Mrohs Gas, and a Poly Lawn Chair compliments of Dutch Country Heirloom Furniture in Laurel.

The Better Living Expo is the Salisbury Optimist Club’s main fundraiser. Throughout the year, the Club hosts several youth-oriented programs, awards more than $10,000 in annual scholarships and sponsors several girls’ softball teams through Wicomico County Parks & Recreation.
