Sausage Gravy & Biscuits Recipe - Made with Gator Hammock Hot Gator Done from Peppers.com

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound sage pork breakfast sausage
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Gator Hammock Hot Gator Done
  • 3 cups milk
Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Bake biscuits as directed on can.
  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook the sausage until brown and crumbly. If excess oil, drain while keeping a solid tablespoon of the sausage oil in the pan. Add the butter and stir well until melted.
  3. Sprinkle sausage with flour and Gator Hammock Hot Gator Done, stir, and allow to cook for several minutes.
  4. Add the milk and stir. Continue stirring occasionally over medium heat until gravy thickens, 5-10 minutes.
  5. Split warm biscuits; place on serving plates. Serve sausage mixture over warm split biscuits.
