Wicomico Recreation to offer new karate program

Wicomico County Recreation will offer a karate program for youth and adults starting later this month.
The beginner classes will be taught by Sensei David Doran and take place in the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center’s Da Nang Rooms. The session is four weeks long, beginning Feb. 27, and it will be on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The class for ages 6-12 will be from 6-7 p.m., and participants ages 13 and older will follow from 7-8 p.m. The session is $55 per person, including the uniform.
To learn more about the program and meet Doran, come to one of the interest meetings. Meetings will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, and Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center’s Da Nang Rooms from 6-7 p.m.
