In The Twelve Powers of Man, Charles Fillmore writes that, “Wisdom includes judgment, discrimination, intuition, and all the departments of mind that come under the head of knowing.”  It’s important to differentiate between true judgment, i.e. the ability to discern, and condemnation.  Discernment seeks only truth, only to do the right thing.  Condemnation makes others wrong.

When we apply these ideas to Dumbledore from the Harry Potter Book series, we can see how he grew from his youth where he tested himself and grew into the person we witnessed in the beloved books.  We all have those testing times as we grow. We can see ourselves in Dumbledore, if even just a bit.

We continue our discussion of the 12 Powers and the Harry Potter characters this Sunday, Unity meets at 10 Am at 98 Rudder Rd., in Long Neck. We are very accepting to all.  Give us a try.
