‘Fame’ musical by Sussex Tech set at Clear Space Feb. 16-19
The Sussex Tech Drama Club will present “Fame” by Jose Fernandez Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 16-19. Curtain is at 7 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and at 3 p.m., Sunday. All performances will be held at Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth Beach.
This ensemble production based on the movie follows a group of students at the Performing Arts Academy in New York City, from their first day as freshmen in fall 1979 to their graduation in 1984. Students engage in the ups and downs of high school life while learning of the value of hard work as they push themselves to achieve fame and live forever.
Tickets are $10 for students/seniors and $15 for adults. Tickets can be purchased during all school lunches at Sussex Technical High School, reserved by an email to anthony.natoli@sussexvt.k12.de.us or bought at the door on performance nights.
