‘Finding Your Feet’ opens at Cinema Arts Theater April 20

April 18, 2018

Starting Friday, April 20, The Rehoboth Beach Film Society will present “Finding Your Feet,” a comedy about taking second chances in one's golden years.

When "Lady" Sandra Abbott (Academy Award nominee Imdelda Staunton) discovers that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend, she seeks refuge in London with her estranged, older sister Bif (Celia Imre). The two could not be more different - Sandra is a fish out of water next to her outspoken, serial dating, free-spirited sibling. But different is just what Sandra needs at the moment, and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to a community dance class, where she starts finding her feet.

Alexandra MacAaron of "Women's Voices for Change" states "There are things that the British simply do better than we do. One of them is creating romantic comedies with old people. Here's a new one, with a marvelous cast that's living it up."

Screenings of  “Finding Your Feet” include 4 and 7 p.m., Friday, April 20; 7:15 p.m., Saturday, April 21; 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 22; 1 and 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 25; and 4 p.m., Thursday, April 26. Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at Cinema Art Theatre behind the Lewes Wawa, starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
