August 10, 2017

Rehoboth theatergoers have only two more chances to enjoy the delightful production of "Jack and the Beanstalk" at the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre. Performances are set for 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 and Wednesday, Aug. 23. Emily Dale White and Jared Calhoun demonstrate their comic versatility as they bring all the characters in the familiar tale to life in this hilarious one-hour show.

In the final two weeks of the theatre's 36th season, White and Calhoun can also be seen in "Peter Pan" at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15, and 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 24; and "Toad's Escape" at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16, and 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Since 1982, family members of all ages have been thrilled with the stage magic of the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre. With only simple costumes and scenery, the company relies on clever, imaginative scripts and energetic, multi-talented actors to re-create the classic stories of children's literature.

Tickets to all performances are $10 and children under 3 attend free. All shows are staged at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach. The church is just off Route 1 near the Tanger Seaside Outlets. There is plenty of free parking.
