AARP Georgetown delivers Halloween baskets to Harrison House residents

AARP Georgetown Chapter 5340 members delivered boo-baskets to the residents of Harrison House, Georgetown at the Oct. 3 bingo party.
Many thanks go to member Honora Whaley who crafted these adorable Halloween baskets filled with candy corn. The smiles on the residents’ faces during the monthly visit makes it worth the trip.
Pat VanAuken played hymns on the piano, and there was a sing-along. Ann Couch and Hilda Parker have brought bingo, ice cream, soda, cookies and crackers every month for many years. Thanks to all the volunteers throughout the years who make this blessing possible.
This is just one of many community service projects done each year by AARP Georgetown Chapter 5340.
