Act now to defend our right to live

March 15, 2018

I praise Dr. James W. Prescott who wrote in the Cape Gazette a careful analysis of the meaning of the Second Amendment to the Constitution to provide for "a well regulated militia."

The crisis we are enduring now threatens our human right protected under law to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The time has come for people to become defensive of our rights which were crafted by our colonial legislators.

It is time to do something! Rattle our current legislators! Participate in our local March For Our Lives March 24.

Each of us can do more than just one thing. Do not allow our current legislators to take away our rights.

Have we become too complacent? Too soft? Too lazy?

Act now to defend our right to live. Do something.
