Aging in place care and retirement planning workshop set May 1

A free class is being offered to the public from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 1, at Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St. The class covers financial and legal planning for care needs during retirement and how to prepare for the future. It will help attendees understand how to plan for care needs and offer suggestions on how to optimize care in the future for oneself and loved ones.

Everyone should be aware of their options and how to consult with their attorney to plan an appropriate strategy for future care to deal with any problems that may arise.
