Albert Earl Snapp, property manager

Albert Earl Snapp, 76, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. He was born in Baltimore, Md., Aug. 27, 1940, son of the late George and Gertrude Snapp.

Mr. Snapp, known by many as Mr. Al, served in the Navy, was a member of the Masons, worked as a mechanic and was a co-owner of L & S Diesel Inc., a diesel engine repair corporation. Mr. Snapp and his late wife, Helen Snapp, moved to Rehoboth Beach in 2000, where he started Deb/Kay Inc., a property management company.

Mr. Snapp is survived by his sister JoAnn (nee Snapp); daughters Deborah Meyers and Diane Hagne; and son Tony Scarpati; his grandchildren Kaylyn Meyers, Michelle and Joseph Kosmalski, Katie Johnson, Patrick Scarpati and Julie Scarpati; his great-grandchildren, Brittany, Nathan, Leah, Aubrey, Silas; and longtime friend Duane Zentgraf.

Mr. Snapp will be cremated and will be enshrined at Veteran Memorials Cemetery, Millsboro. A memorial service will be held, the date and time to be announced later.
