ALERT: Planned power outage in Lewes tonight

The Lewes Board of Public Works will have a scheduled power outage at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, for about four hours, as crews are upgrade the main substation that feeds electricity to City of Lewes.

The BPW was trying to do the work with no power interruptions, but the bypass switch broke, and for the safety of the crews working on this project, a power outage is necessary.
