Amelia R. Lynch, active in church
Amelia R. Lynch, 86 of Dagsboro, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, at her daughter's home in Dagsboro.
She was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Dagsboro, a member and officer of Friends of Prince George's Chapel, a member of Bethel Choir for years and was also active in fundraisers for the church as well as Prince George's.
Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Lynch; a son, Glen Myron Lynch; a sister, Margaret Morris; and three brothers, William H. Davidson, Russell B. Davidson and Eugene T. Davidson.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Lynch and Dennis Lynch; a daughter, Teresa Handy and her husband John; John's sister Beth Heath; one sister, Marian Quillen; four grandchildren, Erika Williams, Nickoll Abbott, Daniel Lynch, Jonathan Handy and six great-grandchildren, Amber, Allayah, Dewane, Maria, Ashleigh and John.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Dagsboro Redmens Cemetery, Dagsboro.
