American Legion Post 17 held its first Memorial Day Parade in Lewes May 29. Veterans and friends processed in the parade, and some rode in World War II Jeeps. The City of Lewes, the Lewes Fire Department, and the Lewes Police Department all helped assure the path was clear and and safe for all parade viewers.
They appreciate all who participated, waved a flag, said a thank you and enjoyed the tribute. The Legion Post 17 family wishes peace to all.
