September 21, 2017

The Delaware Public Archives unveiled a new exhibition Sept. 11 featuring the creations of Wilmington forged-glass artist Marci Tauber, now on display in the Friends of the Delaware Public Archives meeting room. This exhibition is the first installation in The Arts at the Archives, a new partnership between the Archives and its sister agency the Delaware Division of the Arts.

"We're excited to welcome Delaware artists to the Delaware Public Archives," said State Archivist Stephen Marz. "These exhibitions enhance our patrons' visits to the archives and give our guest artists a chance to shine by exhibiting their work in a different venue to new audiences."

Dr. Courtney Stewart, deputy secretary of state; Kristen Pleasanton, deputy director, Delaware Division of the Arts, Marz, and a number of members of the Delaware Public Archives team were in attendance to view Tauber's creations and to learn about her work and creative processes.
