Award-winning pickles, organic juice to be featured at Milton Farmers Market Aug. 5

August 2, 2016

The Milton Farmers Market welcomes two new vendors to the weekly event at Dogfish Head Brewery every Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., where shoppers can find everything they need for their table, fridge or pantry.

Crisp & Company brings award-winning artisan pickles and more to the newest tent at the Milton Farmers Market. Their entire line (pickles, mushrooms, green beans and beets) are all pickled the same day they are harvested to assure exceptional crispness. This brand’s core belief is that pickling not only extends shelf life, but also provides a means to create unique flavoring additions.

The JuiceFresh tent is just steps away. There, shoppers can select unique and organic juice blends in single-serve or large bottles. Many will be surprised to learn that JuiceFresh beverages are 100 percent raw untreated fruits and vegetables, with no added water or sugar, all made using a cold-press process.  Flavors include Orange Crush, Green Greatness, Island Breeze, Antioxidant Blast and Verde Sol, made from various combinations of raw and organic fruits.

Abbotts Grill fires up their huge charcoal grill to create delicious meals on-site or packaged to take home.

The Milton Farmers Market brings over 25 vendors to the weekly market at Dogfish Head Brewery off Chestnut Street, where there is always live and lively music.

Shaded picnic tables are available for patrons to enjoy the sounds while savoring a cool beverage, or sampling their just-purchased products.
