Barbara Ann Wilson, devoted to family

Mrs. Barbara Ann Wilson, 72, of Georgetown passed away peacefully in the care of her family and the Delaware Hospice Center Monday, June 26, 2017.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Nassau Aug. 19, 1944, to the late Roland and Frances Fleetwood Millman. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by brother Roland “Sonny” Millman, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Everett Argo, brother-in-law Jessie Harris and son-in-law Steven Carlton.

Barbara was a homemaker and co-owner of the family farm alongside her husband. She was a member of the Milton Wesleyan Church. Barbara was married 53 years, and it was all about family. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother that God put on this earth. She sacrificed for her husband, children and grandchildren to whom she was devoted and by whom she was adored.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Wilson Sr.; five children, Deborah Carlton of Milton; Dr. Robert Wilson of Georgetown; the Rev. Timothy Wilson and his wife Stacey of Georgetown; Wendy Haddock and her husband Mike of Easton, Md.; Dr. Stephen Wilson and his wife Holly Blair of Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Nancy Harris of Vineland, N.J., and Brenda Argo and her husband Paul of Milford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Luke Wilson, Nathanael Wilson, Kayla Wilson, Micah Haddock, Natalie Haddock, Grace Wilson and Seth Wilson, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Services and interment will be held privately.
