Bark Aid 50 States Tour stops at R. Sterling Salon in Lewes

Ultimate road trip helps Grass Roots Rescue
August 21, 2017

Patrick Lomantini is on a tour of epic proportions.

A master hair stylist for nine years Lomantini needed a purpose for his life; in 2010 he created BarkAid. Through this program he combines his passion for hair and fashion with saving homeless animals. The mission is to raise funds and awareness for homeless animals and educate people about the trials of these animals in the community.

Grass Roots Rescue was the recipient of the Lewes tour stop. The event organized by owner Michelle Phillips at R. Sterling Salon in Coastal Plaza included haircuts and other salon services, as well as a pop up shop of Lulu Roe clothing. Visits with rescue animals - feline and canine - were free.

Beginning in Wichita, Kan., Lomantini’s BarkAID North American Tour 2017 is attempting to hit every state. “I wanted my years of hair styling to be about something important, and this tour allows me to practice my craft, at a unique event that allows me to personally connect with people.”
