The Beacon Middle School boys’ lacrosse team was on fire in the early going April 26, scoring in the first 20 seconds, and continuing the effort to finally take the win over Fifer Middle School 9-4. The Vikings were up 5-0 before the Riders showed any threat of scoring on the tough squad.
Beacon’s Mikey Frederick had three goals in the winning effort. Adam Meacci scored twice, while Jake Truitt, Brax Medd, Hank D’Ambrogi and CJ Fritchman each scored once.
Beacon will travel to Postlethwait Middle School for a game Monday, May 1.
