Beacon Middle School’s Austin Rhue took a centering pass from Hank D’Ambrogi and put it in the back of the Fifer cage to tie the Riders 1-1 in the last minute of play Oct. 23 at the Vikings’ home field.
With the tie, the Vikings soccer team moved to 7-1-1 on the season. They will travel to Selbyville Middle School for a match Monday, Oct. 30, then a Cape Henlopen district matchup with Mariner Middle Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Legends Stadium. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
