Beta Sigma Phi honors Girl of the Year

Catherine Glielmi of Lewes received the honor of Girl of the Year for Xi Sigma Chapter's 2017-18 sorority year during a ceremony held April 18 at the home of Carolyn Joyce. This award is presented annually to the member who best exemplifies the attributes of Beta Sigma Phi. The traditional yellow rose was presented along with a keepsake plaque.

Glielmi served on the Social Committee, Delmar Divas and Scrapbook Committee, earning praise for her commitment to each group. Cathy and her husband Jim have two grown children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys counted cross stitch, crocheting and an assortment of other crafts.
