Bethany Beach Farmers Market opens for season

June 19, 2018

The Bethany Beach Farmers Market celebrated the start of its 11th season by hosting a ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce June 10.

The farmers market is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sundays, through Sept. 2, at the corner of Garfield Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue. With 15 local vendors, the market offers farm-direct fruits and vegetables, organically grown produce, artisanal breads, free-range eggs, farmstead cheeses, freshly cut flowers, local honey, exotic mushrooms, herbs and much more, all strictly from the Delmarva region.

"Our growers, our neighbors – we are proud to be a producer-only market in the heart of Bethany, connecting our community with their local farmers who provide the finest-quality items sourced directly from our Delmarvalous lands to you,” said board member Doug Mowrey.

Limited free parking is available for farmers market shoppers during market hours in the town lot on Garfield Parkway. To learn more, stop by the market or go to www.bethanybeachfarmersmarket.com
