Bethany Blues is bourbon lovers’ paradise

As the dog days of summer unwind, there is no doubt that many are looking for an oasis in the desert. For fans of bourbon, the perfect watering hole is Bethany Blues. A bourbon lovers’ paradise, Blues has craft bourbon cocktails this summer to take people’s tastebuds back to the roaring ‘20s. And a new tiered whiskey menu has rolled out, so ordering has never been easier.

Jessica Nathan, director of  operations for the Lewes location, says the sheer size of their whiskey selection is worthy of comment. "The list is almost overwhelming, so we've broken it down," said Nathan. "Some of our whiskey fans are really ambitious and adventurous, and we want them to be able to take advantage of the work we've put into gathering this collection."

The new list includes a breakdown of the whiskey available in new categories. There are Old Classics, House Selections, Bartenders Selections and even prestigious Cabinet Selections whose prices and availability vary. All whiskey is available in one- or two-ounce pours, making them the perfect option for a flight, and for tasting with friends.

Zach Warner, director of operations for the Bethany location, talks about choosing new selections for customers. "We are the hub of bourbon at the beach, and we really pride ourselves on our bourbon and having a wonderful selection," said Warner.

Nathan and Warner will give the Rehoboth Foodie’s radio listeners a behind-the-scenes peek at Bethany Blues’ bourbon program on The Sip & Bite radio show on Delaware 105.9 FM, starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2.
