Bethany Shore Barre Fitness Studio grand opening set July 27

July 22, 2017

Julie Wender, founder and owner of Shore Barre Fitness Studio, together with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, invites the community to celebrate the highly anticipated grand opening and ribbon-cutting of the new barre fitness studio, Shore Barre. The new Shore Barre studio is located at 32895 Coastal Highway, Unit 101B in the Taggart Center Building.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting takes place Thursday, July 27, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. This event will feature rosés and pliés, a Barbie B at the Beach trunk show, hors d’oeuvres, beverages, special Shore Barre discounts, giveaways and more. Free to the public, all ages and fitness levels are welcome. RSVP via email to info@shorebarre.com or visit www.facebook.com/shorebarre and click on “Events.”

Shore Barre is Bethany’s first, and only, authentic barre fitness program. Shore Barre owner and Principal Instructor Julie Wender began her career at the barre 10 years ago in New York. Wender’s extensive training traces back to the original Lotte Berk Method Studio, having completed her foundational training with Burr Leonard, founder of The Bar Method. To keep her practice organic and well informed, she is Barre Certified by Exhale, and has continued her training, with Exhale Core Fusion Co-Founders Fred DeVito and Elisabeth Halfpapp - whom barre aficionados worldwide consider to be the world’s foremost living barre experts. She is also an ACE Certified Orthopedic Exercise Specialist and Group Fitness Instructor. In 2012, Wender was named one of Spry Magazine’s 40 Hottest Trainers over 40.

“I was totally new to barre and this has been the only non-sport activity that has actually kept my interest! Instructor Julie Wender is to thank for that. She has a unique gift of balancing and guiding all levels during the same class. This class is professional but relaxed, challenging but motivating. As a professional massage therapist for 15 years I need to remain strong and balanced, and this class is helping me do just that. I also recommend this class to almost all my clients for strengthening structural weaknesses,” said Anna DiNenna from Bethany Beach.
