Betty D. Goushas, administrative assistant

Betty D. Goushas, 81, of Lewes, passed away at her home Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. She was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Gloucester, N.J., daughter of the late John L. and Ella Mae (Schock) Methvin.

Mrs. Goushas worked for 30 years as an administrative assistant to the executives at General Electric. She and her husband enjoyed sightseeing across the country. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, and, in her spare time, liked to work on her crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Goushas is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Frank D. Goushas of Lewes; her daughter, Linda Clearwater of Lewes; her grandchildren, Genevieve Meshil and Daniel Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
