Betty Jo Collins, worked in tax department
Betty Jo Collins, 86, of Millsboro, went to be with her loved ones Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Ben and Cora Dorey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Donald T. Collins.
She is survived by her sister, Thelma D. Monroe; and her children, Andrea Bishop, Christie Butterworth, Donna Collins, Corali Williamson and Kevin Collins. She was a grandmother of 17; and a great-grandmother of four.
She was a secretary, homemaker and wife, which filled her life with joy. She retired from the Sussex County Tax Department. She lived all of her life surrounded by family on Zoar Road in Millsboro.
Services will be held Sunday, April 2, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m., for viewing and visitation. Burial will follow in Millsboro Cemetery.
