Biblical storyteller to present at Epworth April 8

April 5, 2017

Epworth United Methodist Church will host biblical storyteller Tracy Radosevic for a daylong retreat, The Power of Story and Storytelling, for students of the campus ministry at University of Maryland College Park, Md. The session at 3 p.m. is open to the public. There is no charge, but a freewill offering will be taken.

Radsovec says, "The overall theme for the weekend with the students is The Power of Story and Storytelling. The 3 p.m. session will be the middle segment. At that time we'll do an interactive exploration of how to tell the stories of our lives, why to tell those stories, and the power for grounding of ourselves and connecting with others that's inherent in doing so." The morning and evening sessions are closed sessions for the students.

A dynamic, energetic, internationally acclaimed storyteller, educator and retreat facilitator since 1991, Radosevic has traveled all over the United States and to several foreign countries, bringing her special brand of humor, insight and faith to audiences of all ages through the power of narrative.

Her favorite stories are biblical. In fact, the vast majority of her work comes through churches and religious organizations. Epworth is at 19285 Holland Glade Road, just north of Rehoboth Beach off Route 1. For more information, go to www.eumcrb.org.
