Biological management workshop set Feb. 5, 6; register by Jan. 28

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market and Future Harvest Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture are sponsoring a special two-day, intensive workshop on Principles and Practices of Biological Management with Dan Kittredge, executive director of the Bionutrient Food Association. The workshop is set 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday and Monday, Feb. 5 and 6, at The Net House in Lewes.

The workshop is participation-based with questions and answers, and designed for farmers, growers and gardeners of any type to learn current research and proven methods, and go step-by-step through the processes that will lead to optimum crop health and sustained yield.

Cost is $200. A limited number of scholarships and seats are available. Scholarships will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is recommended by Saturday, Jan. 28.
