Bombas Socks donates to Crisis House shelter

May 20, 2018

Through the Bombas Socks giving back program, the Crisis House recently received a variety of socks totaling 576 pairs for men, women and children.

The Bombas program is based on the fact that socks are the No. 1 most requested items at homeless shelters. The donated socks are engineered to meet the needs of people who don't have the luxury of putting on a clean pair of socks every day. An antimicrobial treatment ensures they don't need to be washed as often, and reinforced seams and darker colors give more durability.

The Crisis House, located in Georgetown, serves about 180 men, women and children from all over Sussex County each year. Donations of all kinds are always needed to provide for the residents. Anyone interested in donating food, cleaning products, toiletries, linens, and monetary support should contact the Crisis House at 302-856-2246.
