Bonita ‘Bonnie’ E. Dillon, enjoyed music

Bonita "Bonnie" Elizabeth Dillon, 48, of Milford, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at Milford Center. She was born in Baltimore, Md., Saturday, Aug. 16, 1969, daughter of James Long and Bernadette M. Butler.

Bonnie grew up in Baltimore County, Md., where she graduated from Kenwood High School. She continued to further her education at Essex Community College from which she graduated with an associate degree. Bonnie enjoyed listening to music and was well versed in rock trivia. Most of all, Bonnie loved caring for her two cats who were like her children. She was a loving daughter, sister and dear friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is survived by her sister, Heather Butler of Charlotte, N.C.; her brother, Jamie Long of Rosedale, Md.; and her two loving cats, Ricky and Lucy.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m., at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Ave., Essex, Md., where friend may call beginning at 10 a.m.

Interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie's name to the Brandywine Valley SPCA of Georgetown, 22918 Dupont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
