The Metz family of Rehoboth Beach donated a Buddy Bench to Worcester Prep in honor of Head of Lower School Celeste Bunting, who is retiring after 44 years of service to the school. The bench will serve as a tribute to Bunting for years to come as a place to bring comfort to children.
Bunting was renowned for her love of nature and creating the Worcester Prep children's garden. Fourth-grade student Isabella Metz gave a speech during the presentation, alongside her brother Sam, a Worcester Prep kindergartener.
Beautiful hand-painted rocks were also designed by Lower School students to surround the bench.
