The Cape 8-10 All-Star softball team fell to Millsboro 3-2 to end its run in the District 3 tournament. The game was tied at 2-2 with Millsboro batting in the bottom of the sixth when a run scored on a fielder’s choice to end the game.
Lily Hutt and Eden Frederick each had a hit for Cape. Hutt and Abby Marsh picked up RBIs.
The Cape girls fell into the bottom bracket after an 11-1 loss to eventual District 3 champion Woodbridge.
