Cape High students seek sponsors for trip to Italy; departure set March 31

A small group of Cape Henlopen High School students studying with Italian teacher Cristina Christy will be traveling in Italy from March 31 to April 7. The trip will include Florence, Venice, Bologna, Verona and Parma. Christy, who grew up in Bologna, has initiated dialogues about an exchange program with Liceo students there. 

The students, their parents, and chaperone Sue McKone, CHHS library media specialist, wish to thank all the staff members, parents and friends for every fundraiser attended, every candle and T-shirt purchased. 

There is still time left to help students and their parents reduce the cost of their trip. Anyone wishing to contribute or help sponsor a student can contact Christy by emailing cristina.christy@cape.k12.de.us. All contributions are tax-deductible, and unless otherwise instructed, will be split evenly among all students. No amount is too small; all donations are greatly appreciated!
