Cape JROTC Battalion earns Honor Unit With Distinction

Two representatives from the U.S. Army Cadet Command conducted an accreditation evaluation of the Cape Henlopen High School JROTC Battalion Feb. 28.
The Cape JROTC students presented the continuous improvement plan and the service learning plan. The evaluation included cadet interviews, demonstrations from the color guard and drill teams, and reviews of the educational curriculum and staff functions.
The battalion received a 97.25 percent on the inspection, earning the Honor Unit with Distinction Award, the highest recorded this year at a school in Delaware.
