Cape JV football ties Tech 6-6

September 14, 2017

They say a tie is like kissing your sister, but there wasn’t any brotherly love lost between Cape and Sussex Tech Sept. 11, as the junior varsity football squads played down-in-the-trenches, smash-mouth football. When the final whistle blew, the game ended in a 6-6 tie. Davonte Johnson scored first for the Vikings, but the conversion was stopped by the Ravens. Andrell Fulton scored for Sussex Tech on a interception return for a TD. The conversion was also unsuccessful.

Cape will host Smyrna Monday, Oct. 2, at Legends Stadium. The Ravens JV squad will travel to Salesianum Monday, Sept. 18.

Note: Sussex Tech did not have jersey numbers available on its website.
