Cape Region trash is appalling

August 23, 2016

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. My family and I loved Rehoboth Beach and vacationed here for the last 15 years. It was so clear and beautiful.

That is one of the reasons we decided to move here two years ago. Now there is so much litter and trash everywhere from cigarette butts to bags of trash on the highway and sides and backs of stores, plastic bags, coffee cups - you name it.

There are signs at the beach but no one adheres. People smoke on the beach and boardwalk and leave their butts behind.

It is sad when people come to visit this state and see this mess.
