The 2016 Cape Henlopen volleyball banquet was held Nov. 20 at Fish On restaurant in Lewes. Members were presented their letters and award packages during the annual event. Cape Gazette photographer and former Cape teacher Dan Cook was the guest speaker. He honored the team and especially the four seniors, Payton Heck, Cailey Thornburg, Abby E’Nama and Taylor Collier. Together the seniors had 213 kills, 112 aces, 94 blocks and 158 digs this season. Cape finished the season at 12-3.
