Cartoon Christmas Trio with local school choirs set at Milton Theatre Dec. 3

November 22, 2017

Take a trip down memory lane and listen to jazz music from favorite classic animated films such as "Peanuts Christmas Cartoon," The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman" and "The Little Drummer Boy.” The Cartoon Christmas Trio celebrates 22 years as the original interpreter of classic holiday cartoon jazz. Together with chorales from Mariner Middle School and The Jefferson School, it is going to be a night of holiday merrymaking for the ages! The event starts at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3.

Cartoon Christmas Trio is composed of Jeff Knoettner, Jimmy Coleman and Rob Swanson. The music of Vince Guaraldi, in particular, the soundtrack of the Peanuts Christmas Cartoon, has become one of the best selling Christmas recordings of all time. The trio performs every song from this recording, using the exact instrumentation that Guaraldi originally composed for!

Tickets sold at $10 to 20 are available for purchase online at MiltonTheatre.com, via phone by calling 302-684-3038, or at the event itself.

The Milton Theatre is located in downtown historic Milton on 110 Union Street along the Broadkill River. Follow us online: Facebook @miltontheatreshows, Instagram @miltontheatre, and Twitter @Milton_Theatre.
