Catherine L. Clark, counselor, teacher

Catherine L. Clark, 75, of Rehoboth Beach passed away at home Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Atlantic City, N.J., daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Lavin) Clark.
Ms. Clark was a devoted mother, grandmother, counselor, teacher, and friend. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Cape Henlopen School District for many years. She loved exploring the world, the hot sun, the beach, dancing and taking long walks. She was an avid sports fan at every level, especially watching the coaching and playing of her children and grandchildren. She was the life of the party. She lived in Tortola and continued to cherish "island time" when she returned to Delaware. Cathy invested her whole heart into the lives of others. Her friendships were invaluable to her. She appreciated the simple things of life with an eclectic spirt.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Clark was predeceased by her brothers Walt and James Clark. She is survived by her children: Kathleen Fluharty and husband Kevin, John Kochmansky and wife Shala, Michelle Geimer and husband Greg, and David Kochmansky and wife Lisa; her grandchildren: Maxine and David Fluharty, Kyle and Julia Geimer, and Jake and Brett Kochmansky; her sister-in-law, Loretta Clark; and brother-in-law, John Holpp.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 30, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
